The latest development of 5G NR access technology standards

The next generation of mainstream wireless communication technology - 5G (fifth generation mobile communication technology) has become the strategic focus of wireless communication development in various countries. In January 2016, China launched a comprehensive 5G technology R&D test. Many other countries and regions have also proposed 5G development plans and increased 5G R&D efforts.

The 5GPP standard plan for 3GPP includes two versions, R15 and R16. R15 focuses on the requirements of enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) and low latency high reliability (URLLC) applications. The standard is divided into two sub-phases. The first sub-phase 5G NR (New Radio) non-independent networking (option 3) features are planned. Completed in December 2017, ASN.1 was frozen in March 2018; the second sub-phase 5G NR independent networking is scheduled to be completed in June 2018, and ASN.1 is frozen in September. The second standard version of 5G is planned for 2019. Completed in September, it fully meets the needs of various scenarios such as eMBB, URLLC, and large-connect low-power scenarios such as mMTC. The following is the progress of the latest NR access technology standards combed by the laboratory, which is convenient for technicians to follow up the research.

At the 75th Plenary Session of the 3GPP RAN held in March 2017, 3GPP completed the research project (SI) for 5G NR access technology. The relevant research report is shown in Table 1; and the NR Work Item (WI) was officially launched. This series also passed a series of new NR research projects, as shown in Table 2.

As of June 2017, the standardization work of the 3GPP RAN 5G core specification has been completed by about 20%. In order to complete the 5G standardization work as planned, the RAN 76 plenary meeting in June adopted the proposal to increase the discussion meeting: In late January and early July 2018, RAN1-RAN4 added two NR Ad hoc meetings. In addition, in order to give more time to 5G work projects, all RAN1 NR related research projects are suspended until September, and the RAN 77 Plenary will not discuss any new NR projects. In addition to the follow-up work of the completed research project, RAN1-RAN4 is not encouraged in principle for new LTE projects.

As the core representative of the 3GPP organization in China, China Telecom's Tel Terminal Lab has been involved in the development of 3GPP standards and submitted hundreds of proposals to 3GPP, especially in the 3GPP RAN4 and RAN5 subgroups. The standards and test methods of MIMO OTA, LTE security, LTE enhancement technology, vehicle networking, and cellular Internet of things are mature and perfect.

In the future, Tyre Terminal Lab will continue to voice on behalf of China in the 3GPP organization and contribute to the development of China's 5G.

Cloth Pen Nib

Product categories of Cloth Pen Nib, it is belong to Passive Stylus Pen. Passive stylus pen is characterized by being cheap and without charging. But compared with the active capacitive stylus pen, its tip diameter is larger, so it cannot be used in works with high precision. Using high-quality conductive cloth head, smooth contact with the screen.
