Driving a smart home: The future of a Samsung remote control is enough

According to a plan previously disclosed by Samsung, it will integrate its own SmartThings connected home platform on all smart TVs in 2016. The latest news revealed that Samsung is building a remote control that can drive all home devices. Samsung’s latest Smart Control remote controller promises to connect all TV connected hardware devices, including video game systems and Blu-ray players, etc., and with the further expansion of the Internet of Things technology, users can control the lights, home surveillance cameras and Other SmartThings-based devices.

At present, Smart Control remote controller is not officially released, so it is not yet clear what the specific function, disadvantage or design. However, there are plenty of reasons to speculate that this is a device that can compete with the Logitech Harmony remote control, which has enabled users to control lights, door locks, and other devices. The remote control will have a built-in Tizen system that will make content access faster and smoother.
