LG Zoom: Pretty Reeling Screen Display at CES 2016

Earlier, LG demonstrated an 18-inch ultra-flexible OLED display panel. The thickness of the display panel is only ordinary paper thickness, and can be folded into a reel with a radius of only 3 cm without affecting the display function.

Although LG has been working behind closed doors, it did not show us the product with this concept display. However, the equipment equipped with this panel technology still arouses everyone's interest.

January 4 news, according to The Verge report, LG's very attractive scroll display is expected to debut at this year's CES show.

OLED is widely regarded as the new technology product that will detonate the display industry's next revolution. The application of organic light-emitting diode technology in televisions can not only be thinner and lighter, but also allow a certain degree of bending and even folding.

It is understood that LG smartphones, tablet PCs and TV devices equipped with this screen technology will all be expected to debut at CES this year.

In addition, LG will also exhibit on-board systems equipped with a 25-inch "reel" screen and a 55-inch "wallpaper" concept TV. Of course, there are 98-inch 8K TVs, it seems that this CES, LG prepared very fully.

Currently, companies including Samsung, LG, and Sony have all launched products based on OLED displays. However, due to the low yield rate, the overall production cost of the screen has remained high.
