Without EtherCAT programming, machine builders can create servo systems with a high number of axes. These servo systems can be synchronized with other modules in the NI PXI or NI CompactRIO system. NI also sells new single-cable AKM motors worldwide, and combines motor power and feedback signals in one connector to reduce the cost and complexity of wiring.
