The new product series has a unique structural design, the LED is fixed to the metal insert on the outside, and the inert liquid is injected into the bulb for heat dissipation, so that a good heat dissipation effect can be achieved with fewer luminaire components, thereby achieving high Current operation for high brightness. Switch's Chief Strategy Officer Brett Sharenow compared it to the Philips 60-watt replacement lamp currently on the market. The Philips 60-watt replacement lamp has a power of 12 watts, uses 18 LED chips , and has a luminous flux of 830 lumens, while Switch's 75-watt replacement. The lamp has a power of 16 watts and uses 10 LED chips with a luminous flux of 1150 lumens.

However, there are still many problems to be solved by simply increasing the driving current to achieve high brightness of the lamp, such as shortening the service life of the lamp and increasing the cost of the cooling system. In addition, the simple comparison with Philips products is unfair, because LED components are constantly improving, Switch products are likely to be based on a new generation of components.

It is understood that Switch Lighting's new LED replacement lamp product performance is very powerful, the warm white light color temperature is 2750K, the color rendering index reaches 85, according to the daily use of 3 hours to calculate, the lamp life can reach 18 years. This replacement lamp will save $140 in energy consumption compared to a 75 watt incandescent lamp.

Switch Lighting will also introduce 60-watt and 40-watt replacement lamps, and they plan to offer neutral color and warm white color temperatures for these three power lamps. Sharenow expects a 60-watt replacement lamp to retail for about $20.
