Vitesse launches the industry's lowest power, MEF CE 2.0 compliant NID / EAD reference design
2012 Telecom Ethernet Asia Pacific Conference – Vitesse Semiconductor CorporaTIon (NASDAQ: VTSS), a leader in providing advanced integrated circuit solutions for telecommunications and corporate networks, announced the launch of a network peripheral / Ethernet Network access equipment (NID / EAD) reference design, this design can provide carrier-grade network performance for cloud business services.
The NID / EAD platform is based on Vitesse's CEServices software and Serval â„¢ (VSC7418) telecom Ethernet switch engine, which can help Vitesse customers significantly reduce time to market and development costs. The platform has surpassed today's MEF CE 2.0 requirements, including the establishment of important services and wire-speed support for RFC2544, Y.1564, multi-operator OAM, and hierarchical service quality (HQoS) and other guarantee functions. The reference design also incorporates Veritesi's VeriTIme â„¢ timing synchronization technology for mobile access deployment.

The panel discussion is scheduled to be held on December 5, 2012 (Wednesday) at 3 pm local time during the thematic discussion on the return transfer of operations.
