Android WeChat BUG! People with these phones are careful!

Emergency notice! If you're using WeChat on an Android phone, be careful when sending or receiving a message that contains "two numbers followed by fifteen full stops." This specific combination can crash WeChat instantly. For example, "15.............." could trigger the issue. Currently, it's reported that devices from Meizu (excluding Nnote 5), Huawei (excluding P10 Plus and Glory 8), Coolpad, Vivo, Nubia, OnePlus, and OPPO are affected. Some models might be safe, but the list is still incomplete and under investigation.

Other brands such as Xiaomi, Sony, LG, and HTC have not shown any issues, and iOS users don't need to worry — iPhones are unaffected. If you encounter this problem, either by receiving or sending the problematic message, there's a simple fix. Open WeChat, go to the global search feature, and type in "two numbers + fifteen periods," like "15..............". Locate the message and delete it to restore normal function.

To do this, tap the search icon in WeChat and enter the exact string in the global search mode. Then, navigate to the contact or chat where the message was sent. Tap on the message and select "Delete" from the menu to resolve the issue.
