Android WeChat BUG! People with these phones are careful!

Emergency Notice! Emergency Notice! If you're using WeChat on an Android phone, avoid sending or even receiving the combination of "two numbers followed by fifteen periods" — this will crash WeChat instantly. For example: "15.............." This issue has been reported on several brands, including Meizu (except Note 5), Huawei (except P10 Plus and Honor 8), Xiaomi, Vivo, Nubia, OnePlus, and OPPO. Some models may be unaffected, but the list is still incomplete and being updated.

Other brands like Xiaomi, Sony, LG, and HTC have not shown any issues, and iOS users can rest easy — no problems have been reported on iPhones. If you accidentally encounter this message — whether you sent it or received it — there's a simple fix. Open WeChat, go to the global search feature, and look for the string "two numbers + fifteen periods," such as "15..............". Once found, delete that message and everything should return to normal.

To do this, tap the search icon in WeChat and enter the specific text. Then, navigate to the conversation where the message was sent. Tap the message, select "Delete" from the menu, and the issue should be resolved.
