2016 Industrial Fair kicks off opening of the competition for robots (Figure)

On November 1, 2016, China International Industry Fair opened in Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center. The China International Industry Fair comprises a total of eight exhibition areas, of which the largest one is the robot exhibition. In this robot exhibition area, domestic and foreign well-known industrial robot manufacturers and integrators, such as FANUC, ABB, Kukafa, Yaskawa, and Xinsong, made appearances collectively and displayed the latest achievements of the robot industry.

According to statistics, China will remain the world’s largest and fastest growing robot market in the next few years. By 2018, for every three industrial robots produced, one will be used in China. As a barometer of China's manufacturing industry, the China Industry and Trade Fair recognized the huge potential of the robot market a few years ago and set up a professional exhibition for robots. It has successfully held four sessions so far. In fact, the scale of the Robotics Exhibition of the Industry Fair last year has grown significantly compared to previous years; but this year, the area of ​​the exhibition space under the robot “bag” has doubled from the previous year to 50,000 square meters. In terms of area, "Industrial Fair" is in fact the largest robot exhibition in Asia and even in the world.
