Operating Procedure

1. Turn on the power and water supply to ensure the machine is ready for use.

2. Choose the suitable fixture based on the core sample's diameter, clamp the sample securely, and position it in the center of the chassis. Tighten the clamping mechanism to hold the sample firmly in place.

3. Loosen the upper and lower tensioning handwheels, then turn the lifting handwheel until the grinding wheel’s end face is approximately 1mm away from the sample’s end face. Secure the upper cable grip handle, open the water inlet valve, and turn off the power. Start the grinding wheel, then turn the main handwheel counterclockwise and the micro-handwheel clockwise to lower the grinding head. When the grinding wheel makes contact with the sample, continue grinding until the surface is flat and even.

4. After completing the grinding, turn off the power and close the water faucet. Adjust the micro-handwheel counterclockwise to return the grinding head to its upper limit position.

5. Loosen the clamping tensioning handle, remove the sample along with the clamp, and reinstall it in reverse. Repeat steps 2, 3, and 4 to grind the opposite end face of the sample until it meets the required specifications.

6. After using the concrete slicer, always turn off the power and clean the machine thoroughly to maintain its performance and longevity.
