Operating Procedure

1. Turn on the power supply and water source to ensure proper operation.

2. Choose the appropriate fixture based on the core sample's diameter. Secure the sample in the fixture and align it with the center of the machine. Tighten the clamping mechanism firmly.

3. Loosen the upper and lower tensioning handwheels, then adjust the lifting handwheel. Raise the grinding wheel until it is approximately 1mm away from the sample’s end face. Once in position, tighten the upper cable grip and open the water valve. Switch off the power, start the grinding wheel, and turn the main handwheel counterclockwise while rotating the micro-handwheel clockwise to lower the grinding head. Continue until the grinding wheel makes contact with the sample surface, then proceed to flatten the end face.

4. After the grinding process is complete, turn off the power and close the water valve. Adjust the micro-handwheel counterclockwise to return it to the upper limit position.

5. Loosen the clamping handle, remove the sample along with the clamp, and re-install it in reverse. Repeat steps 2, 3, and 4 to grind the opposite end face of the sample until both ends meet the required specifications.

6. After use, turn off the power and clean the machine thoroughly to maintain its performance and longevity.
