1, LED light bar circuit design: LED light bar circuit includes series circuit and parallel circuit, there is a series and parallel circuit.

The advantage of the series circuit is that the current is constant and it is easier to control the LED drive current. The disadvantage is that if one of the LEDs is damaged, all the LEDs will be off, but it will not affect the lifetime of other LEDs.

The advantage of the parallel circuit is that any LED failure will not affect the use of other LEDs. The disadvantage is that if the current limiting resistor is not added, any one of the LED's will be damaged, which will cause the other LED's current to increase at both ends and will burn other LEDs. And because the driving voltage of a single LED is very low, it will cause most of the voltage to do useless work, and it is also a waste of resources.

The series-parallel circuit is a general circuit of the LED light bar at present, because several LEDs are used in series to form a group and then parallel with other groups. It can maximize the use of power supply voltage and reduce the useless power loss. At the same time, using several LEDs in series can ensure that the drive currents of these LEDs are the same, which is conducive to the current of the constant LEDs to ensure the service life of the LEDs. The series-connected LED lamp group is then connected in parallel with other groups to ensure that if one group is damaged, it will not affect the normal use of other groups. At the same time, since each group has a current limiting resistor, it will not affect the service life of other groups because of the damage of one group.

2. Number of LED beads per meter:

Normally, the number of LED beads per meter is fixed. For example, 1210 is 60 lamps, 5050 is 30 lamps, and 48 lamps and 60 lamps are special. If there are other special requirements, such as 50 lights per meter, this involves modifying the circuit. Because it is usually a set of 3 LEDs, if it is 50 lights, it will become a group of numbers is not enough, but if it becomes a group of two LEDs, it will increase the resistance of the current limiting resistor, which will cause waste of resources . Therefore, when you make LED lights with special requirements, you must pay attention to the number of lamp beads is a multiple of 3, so as not to waste voltage resources.

3, LED light bar cutting position: In general, is to make a cut position for each group. However, it is not reasonable for some customers to request a single LED to make a cut position. Because in that case it is equivalent to a parallel circuit, there is no guarantee for the service life of LED strips.
