Recently, ZTE Corporation announced that its unified platform cryptographic library and UEP cryptographic module have successfully passed the test of atsec information security company, and obtained the security verification of the CMVP cryptographic module verification system according to the FIPS 140-2 standard. ZTE is also the first manufacturer in China to pass CMVP certification.
The CMVP system was established by the National Standards and Technology Commission of the United States NIST and the National Communications Security Administration of Canada CSEC. FIPS 140-2 defines the security requirements of the US federal government and the Canadian government, and is used to protect the unclassified data in the IT system Must meet the requirements of this series.

Since September 2010, atsec has tested two cryptographic modules of ZTE based on the FIPS 140-2 standard. The test work was completed in August 2011, and CMVP awarded certificates to the two modules of ZTE.
