CEA: Global consumer electronics retail sales are expected to break trillions of dollars this year

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) of the United States forecast on Tuesday local time that global retail sales of consumer electronics products will increase by 10% to US$9.64 billion on the basis of last year’s US$873 billion.

CEA expects retail sales of consumer electronics products in North America to grow 15% this year, 23% in Western Europe, 15% in China, 12% in Asia, 5% in Eastern Europe, 4% in the Middle East, South America and Africa It is 10% and 7%.
