The Gartner data show that Lenovo Group is still the world's largest PC maker, ASUS ranked fourth, ranking before Apple and Acer Group.
Experts pointed out that the reason why the data "fights" is because the statistical analysis methods of the two companies are different. For example, Gartner did not include the Chrome Book shipments in the statistics when calculating shipments.
IDC's data shows that Lenovo performed poorly in the North American market, and HP performed well in North America, and European market shipments also rebounded, but the performance in the Asia-Pacific region was weak. HP eliminated many low-end PCs and focused on high-end PCs and high-priced products. Lenovo has introduced some innovative PCs, such as Yoga, but China's business performance is sluggish.
However, both agreed that the PC market in China will enter a plateau.
At present, the performance of the commercial market is stable, while in the consumer market, the decline in desktops and the growth of notebooks are basically offset. The smart phone and tablet market saturation, emerging two-in-one PC equipment also showed an increase.
