South Korea's IC exports in 2011 is expected to hit a new high of 19 billion US dollars

Samsung Electronics continues to expand its semiconductor business beyond memory applications such as Application Processor (AP), Display Driver IC (DDI), foundry, and image sensor, and Hynix Other Korean companies such as (Hynix) have also laid out non-memory businesses such as foundry business. This will help South Korea to accelerate the transition to a non-memory exporter country following memory.
